Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager CH149 Warehouse operations, the CSH Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for all of IMP contracted duties related to the operation of the CSH Depot including IMP’s commitments in support of the Canadian Repair and Overhaul Support Scheme (CROSS) contract and Government Supplied Materials. The CSH Material Warehouse Coordinator also performs other material handling functions such as shipping, receiving and warehousing of parts in support of Canada’s fleet of Cormorant SAR helicopters.
What You Will Do:
- Work with LHD Depot Manager to identify, research and resolve day to day issues related to the execution of the CROSS contract
- Work with CSH Life Cycle Material Specialist (LCMS) and purchasers to resolve minor technical and contractual discrepancies
- Receive, Inspect, sort, and issue incoming components, parts and supplies
- Carry out non-technical inspections of CSH components and parts, record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Respond to and dealing with internal and external customer communication by email, fax and telephone
- Move material through CSH operations
- Package items for outgoing shipments; prepare material transportation vouchers and other logistics documentation
- Update database, carry out filing, and record keeping in detailed register entries
- Operate forklift and other machinery/equipment use in the handling of material
- Attend program meetings as required
- Attend training for trade and personnel development for qualification/certification purposes.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist as required with general hangar cleaning
- Adhere to policies, procedures and directives established by the Company
- Other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring:
- Grade twelve (12) diploma and at least three (3) years related experience
- Knowledge of material control and warehouse operations
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Must be familiar with MS Office Products (Outlook, Excel) and Warehouse/Inventory Management Systems
- Ability to problem solve and resolve customer issues in a responsive manner
- Able to operate vehicles, forklifts and material handing machinery/equipment
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to IMP Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies, continually focusing on your individual safety and the safety of others who many be affected by your work and to fully comply with all Federal Heart and Safety Legislation
- Participate in Continuous Improvement, Lean & 5S activities in your area
- Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S> International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian government security clearances.
