The Opportunity:

Harding Medical is searching for an experienced Order Clerk to join our Halifax team. If you are a personable, energetic professional dedicated to delivering exceptional support and maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy, you are our ideal candidate!

What You Will Do:

  • Enter customer orders accurately, ensuring all required information is complete
  • Process invoices and payments, and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Prepare rental agreements and related documentation with accuracy
  • Update and maintain rental inventory records, including availability, returns, and active rentals
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as answering calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence
  • Complete clerical tasks including typing reports, maintaining records, and updating databases
  • Organize and maintain both paper and electronic office files

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Postsecondary education in Administration an asset
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology or home medical industry experience an asset
  • Strong MS Office skills and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to complete tasks accurately and on time
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, including asking questions and escalating issues when needed
