The Opportunity:

Harding Medical is searching for an In-Shop Technician to join our Moncton team in New Brunswick. If you are a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working with others, you are our ideal candidate!

What You Will Do:

  • Locate product in inventory and assemble as per specifications for trials, rental and New Builds for medical mobility equipment (i.e.: wheelchairs, walkers, bathroom aids, etc.)
  • Clean equipment returned from Evaluation and Rental following cleaning & disinfecting guidelines
  • Restock inventory being returned from Eval’s and Rental in designated areas
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed
  • Keep shop and work areas clean and organized
  • Assist outside technicians with deliveries and installations as required
  • Manage company assets effectively and ensure safe working practices are adhered to
  • Attend training classes and actively participate in personal upgrading through continuing education and training
  • Handle deliveries and pickups

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Grade 12 Academic
  • Experience with home health care products is preferred but we will train the successful applicant
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools is required
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted and 50+lbs assisted
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Drivers License and clean Driver’s abstract is preferred
  • Criminal record check will be required
