Senior Consultant

The Opportunity:

At IMP Solutions, we provide IT products, and IT and business consulting services to our clients across Canada.

We’re growing our Professional Services team and are looking for an experienced consultant who can combine strategic thinking, strong client relationships, and delivery expertise to help our clients achieve their desired outcomes.

You’ll work directly with clients, help shape initiatives early, and stay involved through delivery. The work is a mix of delivery and advisory, depending on the client and the engagement.

Our consultants work with clients across both the public and private sectors, providing a combination of advisory, transformation, and delivery services for business and technology initiatives.

The role offers a mix of remote and on-site work, depending on client needs.

What You Will Do:

• Lead complex client engagements from planning through execution
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape strategies, priorities, and approaches to complex business and technology challenges
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, including senior leadership teams
• Facilitate workshops, discussions, and planning sessions to define objectives and approaches
• Provide strategic advice and practical recommendations to help clients achieve business outcomes
• Lead project, program, or transformation initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders
• Manage risks, issues, budgets, schedules, and overall engagement success
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to drive results
• Support business development activities including proposals, solution development, and client discussions

What You Need to Succeed:

• 8+ years of experience in consulting, project delivery, business analysis, organizational change, program management, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading complex business and technology initiatives
• Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate confidently at both executive and working-team levels
• Experience building trusted relationships with clients and acting as a strategic advisor
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to delivering results
• Experience working in client-facing consulting environments is considered a strong asset
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CBAP, Prosci, Agile, ITIL, or equivalent experience are considered assets
• Ability to identify opportunities, contribute to business development efforts, and support the growth of client relationships
