Position Overview
Responsible for processing incoming invoices for payments, following up with suppliers for missing information, and verifying and reconciling supplier statements.
What You Will Do
ACCOUNT PAYABLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process incoming invoices for payment:
- Access and manage timeliness of incoming vendor invoices (mail, email, vendor portal)
- Review vendor invoices for relevance, accuracy, taxes, and values.
- Processing of non-PO invoices: code invoices according to set guidelines, process for internalapproval via electronic tool (ONBASE document management system), once approved transferinvoice profile/data to JDE, then in cue awaiting payment.
- Processing of PO invoices: once service/item reception is posted, invoice image is scanned(via Kofax document imaging system), then stays in cue awaiting payment.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Work with internal colleagues to clear problem invoices, POs, coding, etc.
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain required credits, statement of accounts, etc.
- Adjust vendor profile as needed, under structured accesses to vendor modifications andupdates.
- Verify and reconcile supplier statements - follow up with supplier for unreconciled items onregular basis.
- Follow up on open purchase orders not vouchered.
What You Will Bring
- AEC or DEP
- Accounting Diploma OR Accounting Experience (minimum one year of experience)
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
