Summary

The Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments and accurate financial reporting. This role involves processing daily receipt entries in our JD Edwards system, maintaining and updating AR reports for collection, closing AR and completing AR accounts reconciliations, and opening customer accounts and managing the customer review process. The analyst also manages the Charter billing process and provides accurate GP month-end reports, completes monthly Charter account reconciliations, assists with Monthly E-billing processes, assists with the audit process, and handles ad-hoc analysis requests.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily receipts
  • Collect and maintain customer accounts, and AR Reports
  • Responsible for month-end AR process
  • Maintain Charter billing process
  • Complete reconciliations and generate GP reports
  • Assist with E-billing
  • Assist with audit process
  • Prepare as requested ad-hoc analysis and reconciliations

Requirements

  • AEC/DEP in Accounting
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite with intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with JD Edwards is an asset
  • Attention to detail
  • Good analytical skills
  • Effective communication in English (French is an asset)
