Summary
Responsible for establishing new relationships with customers, nurturing existing one, and identifying and capturing new opportunities in business aviation. The goal is to ensure long-term mutually beneficial partnerships between customers and IEAG’s MRO’s, and, in the process, achieve the yearly sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Meets and exceeds the yearly sales quotas for the allocated regions (N America / Europe)
- Establishes new customer relationships and grows customer base
- Nurtures current customer relationships to maximize recurring business
- Prepares for and attends trade shows, conferences, meetings, and other local, regional or national promotional opportunities
- Works with the team to find optimal solution for customers and IEAG
- Gathers market information and shares with colleagues to maintain competitiveness
- Maintains record of prospects, leads, customer contacts, wins & losses on CRM database
- Documents and submits customer requests for quotation to the Estimating team
- Follows-up on quotes with customer towards closure
- Participates in the development of the sales strategic plan, sales process optimization, and sales tactics development.
Requirements
- Aircraft technical school graduate
- AME License (M2 E preferred)
- Aircraft Maintenance or Sales Environment
- Knowledge of Business Jet maintenance schedules and/or sales environment (an asset)
- 5 years of sales/marketing/technical experience and/or aviation technical knowledge
- Knowledge and experience of business jet heavy maintenance, aircraft modifications and avionics (an asset)
- Computer literate and Web-savvy (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Salesforce experience
- Valid passport with no restrictions
- Available to travel up to 50% of the time
- Excellent communicator and negotiator with superior inter-personal skills
- Able to build lasting relationships with customers and clients
