Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor, Dispatch, the Dispatch Coordinator participates in the overall functioning of the Operational Control Centre (activities are active 24/7, 365/366 days per year). On behalf of the Manager OCC, the Dispatch Coordinator provides information, guidance and updates to assist the pilot in command to exercise safe and efficient operational control over Execaire’s flights and ImageAir flights.
Responsibilities
- Support the Pilot in Command in their responsibilities
- Conduct the Shift Change Checklist and Carry Over Briefing at every shift change
- Flight plan as per the company policies outlined in this web manual and the Company Operations Manual
- Flight follow as per the Flight Following and Flight Watch policy and procedure. Complete day of trip changes.
- Monitor enroute and destination weather.
- Trigger the AOG process flow.
- Generate flight plans for overflight permit planning.
- Coordinate flight fuel and prepare fuel tankering plan.
Requirements
- Proven computer skills with Flight Planning Software).
- DEP (Flight Dispatch) is an asset
- Dynamic and energetic leader in operational issues with strong leadership, motivational and communication skills. Ability to think/work creatively and strategically.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Bilingual (Spoken and written).
- Available to work days, evenings, nights and weekends; based on a schedule of 12.5 hour shifts.14 days out 35 days
