Summary

Responsible for the removal, proper storage, identification, interior protection, and the day-to-day operations of all and or any interior.

Responsibilities

  • Re-installation of any interior furnishings including A/C insulation that must be fixed or stored as per scope of work.
  • Support any department based on his expertise or experience.
  • Carry out the following to the aircraft interior based on his expertise; touch-ups, buffing, scratch repair, re-bonding of fabric and veneers, carpet trimming and sewing, and seat repairs.
  • Required to employ all company standards and or guidelines in the daily duties of their trade.
  • Employees of this category can also be engaged in the inspection of components, parts, units, materials to ensure that they meet Transport Canada/F.A.A./E.A.S. A, Company standards of airworthiness and may be required to go through an approved company apprenticeship program.
  • In this capacity, they could also be responsible for the conformity of manufactured interior components and furnishings.

Requirements

  • Equivalent training or technical school diploma or trade school certificate
  • Related aviation experience
  • Good communicator in English and French
  • Sound troubleshooting and good analytical skills
  • Basic computer skills to enable interrogation and downloading of information from aircraft and their engines using a PC
  • Customer service oriented
