What your day will look like as an Assigned Mechanic (AME) : Assigned mechanics report to the Maintenance Manager. All Assigned Mechanics will supervise and control the maintenance activities of their respective aircraft. Assigned Mechanics are assigned to one or several aircraft to assure the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

 

  • Adhere to company procedures and policies;
  • Evaluate maintenance program that meets needs of client (OEM/Progressive);
  • Preparation of annual aircraft maintenance budgets for approval by Maintenance Manager;
  • Maintain aircraft in airworthy condition for on-schedule departures;
  • Communicate with dispatch/operations upon arrival of aircraft, review aircraft status and advise management of any potential downtime that impacts schedule;
  • Control expenditures and maintenance activities on the aircraft;
  • Complete all work order entries in a timely fashion;

Requirements

 

  • Minimum Grade 12
  • AME license category M2
  • Previous experience on Challenger 300 (aircraft endorsement preferred)
  • Have successfully completed a TC approved Aircraft Maintenance Technical training program
  • 5 years aircraft maintenance experience
  • Must be available to work a variable schedule and travel according to aircraft maintenance needs
